The Renegade is a ship that sails the vast waters between many kingdoms. However, this is no ordinary ship. It doesn't carry innocent passengers, supplies to aide in battle or humanitarian medicine or food-no. It carries loot from sorry, unsuspecting victims and weapons prepared to kill. But most of all the Renegade carries and is handled by a crew full of pirates. Thieving, bloodthirsty, malicious pirates. Every pirate on board this ship has been hand selected by the captain who runs it for their ruthlessness and obedience to his authority alone. The ship, the Renegade, has been around for several generations, passed on from father to son. But, it wasn't until recently that the Renegade ship became a name that was widely feared for sea bearing travelers. The new captain, named after the ship itself is the first captain of the ship to collect more than a million worth in gold and a billion worth in respect and fear in the neighboring land kingdoms. Why so much fear you ask? The Renegade is responsible for daily ship hijackings, looting's and killings. It is the fastest ship on the water and can come and go like a dark shadow cast upon the painted night. It is these very reasons and the cunning of the captain and crew that makes this ship utterly terrifying. But if these words do not provide enough to prevent you from sailing the high seas, best be warned you may not come back to prove me wrong. Oh and another thing, The Renegade is not one to keep prisoners. . . and is not one to show any mercy. So when you see their blackened sails; you're dead.
The Renegade, as elusive as it is, is known to take port at the Realm of Mordier. The ships crew does a lot of business with this realm and often smuggles assassins from the league into foreign kingdoms. Though the Renegade has no real reason for such an alliance, the pay off for assisting the League Leader is worth every ounce of gold in return and some time upon solid ground. Despite this alliance there is great tension between the Leader of the Assassins and the Captain of the Renegade. They tolerate each other for the sake of business but otherwise keep their distance and prefer to keep transactions to a minimum.
Fortunately for any riding the harsh sea waves, the Renegade only sails at night. So during the day the waters a relatively safe to travel. But, once the sun sets beyond the horizon, the crew of the fiercest ship sets sail to pillage and plunder the moonlit night away.It is said the Renegade appears without warning when coming upon new victims, concealed by the black sky and inky waters it comes and goes without any chance of being spotted...that is until it wants to be.
