Intro - Mordier [German of Origin meaning Assassin or Murder] - Mordier is a realm long since forgotten by it's neighboring countries. It is a bone yard - laden with skeletons, grave stones, broken stone walls and cobble roads. The air wreaks of blood and dust, the ground is stained red. Everywhere there are shadows lurking and the soft chuckles of maniacal maniacs. The sky is always dark here- warning any traveler to turn around...and never come back. For here in the Realm of Mordier lives the worst beings that ever stepped foot on earth. Thieves, Murderers, Assassins and more. The outcasts, the crazies who were cast out from the rest of society. They are all here. Living among-st the bones of a kingdom long past. A proud and mighty beacon of hope that imploded upon itself leaving nothing more than rubble behind. Ironic how such a proud kingdom would become a hell hole for the sickest of all. That a kingdom built upon strict law would be diminished to complete anarchy. Because here in this realm there are no more rules. Kill your neighbor, no one will come looking. Steal a mans meal, no sentencing to jail. It is all free game here. . . or mostly.
League of Assassins - Deep within the ruin of Mordier sits the headquarters for the League of Assassins. This group is led by a notorious general who has over 100,000 innocent blood on his hands. He creates jobs for the people who have a special set of skills and makes sure these jobs are carried out. The unspoken rules of the League is that once you join you can never leave, and if a job goes unfinished - your life will pay for the one you didn't go kill. The rules that are spoken, is that you keep what you kill. So, with that in mind, power changes hands often, but none has gotten the best of the leader of the assassins.
Thieves Guild - The thieves guild is comprised of many who's sticky fingers have gotten them in loads of trouble. This odd bunch of rejects have no real hierarchy save for the 'master' whom claims a share of any intake in return for protection. This guild is a lot more laid back than the assassin's league and allows for anyone to come and go as long as the master gets a cut of the profits. Most of the thieves in the guild are comprised of young children and women who most would not suspect to be anything other than what they appear to be.
Bounty Hunters - Along the outskirts of Mordier lies the Bounty Hunter's troop. This band of mainly men are tasked with hunting down designated targets, but unlike the assassins, they are to bring their targets back alive to face punishment for their crimes or to grab prisoners of war or hostages in exchange for a bounty. Most who belong to this troop are only interested in the payment, and have no real moral compass. However, some do and use this troop to preform good and bring the evilest of men to justice. The leader of the bounty hunters is a very strict and serious man who does not tolerate imperfection. Though he will not kill someone for failure, he will not hesitate to take a limb to prove a point.
